I have not had much time for my own work at the moment, but lots of ideas in the notebook. Stewarding the Traditions at Lydiard exhibition yesterday, gave me the opportunity to think about my work. That was in-between all the visitors to the exhibition. It was really lovely to meet everyone and get some ideas together about m work..
Working with mixed media images which are only possible in the creative arts, gives me great joy. I have the constant help of trusty friends the Schnauzer and the Siamese.I enjoy digital and traditional media and use both in my work.

This is going to be beautiful Maggie. I agree about the colours just right for a boy.
Well done Sam
I recognise those fabrics - lovely, we both love hexagons!
The blues and browns remind me of some of the quilts in Susan Briscoe's book "Japanese Quilt Blocks". I nearly made one for my little grandson but in the end I just made a traditional quilt using up lots of lovely Kaffe Fassett blues from my Cotton Patch pieces - can't remember what they call them - about 9" by 11". The effect of the hexagons floating on the background is most effective. Maybe see you and your daughter in Missenden on the 9th June - it's 11-4 though I may have said 10-4!
