Day out.

Had a great day out today.......one of the hottest days of the year. The journey was fantastic, clear and very bright weather we travelled along the Roman Road called the Fosse Way, through the Cotswolds. The blossom on the trees, the fresh leaves bursting on the trees was truly a wonderful sight.

This photo was taken on the outskirts of Solihull at 9.15am and the temperature was 17C. The haze of orange in the distance are masses of tulips. The meeting finished at about 3.15pm, and driving back along the Fosse Way in Warwickshire, we travelled through some very attractive countryside, lots of sheep with their lambs too.

Getting back to the cotswolds, the temperature dropped a few degrees, but the scenery was still inspirational. This is Moreton in the Marsh,

When we got home the adolsecent puppy was very happy to see us. He loves to travel with us, but I was working on exam business and "No dogs allowed". It was good to be back home.
